Fruity green profile, with ripe notes. With evident bitter and noticeable astringency in the mouth.
Secondary aromas of vegetable type, with clear connotations of freshly cut grass and orchard plants, such as artichoke, tomato or almond, which define the sweetness in the mouth. Apple touches, characteristic of the Arbequina variety. The set is intense in the mouth, complex and very aromatic.
The Arbequina cooperative is one of the Arbequina oil producers with a protected Denomination of Origin “Les Garrigues Oil”, controlled by the DOP Les Garrigues Regulatory Council based in Lleida.
It is the first denomination of origin of oil recognized in the Spanish territory (1975), certified in 1996 by the European Union as PDO, recognizing the excellent quality of Catalan olive oil.
Arbequina has made Extra Virgin Oil its flag and has always tried to give the best product, this has been recognized with different prizes and second prizes.
